Set on a sunny, flat site on the edge of the estuary, you can swim, kayak or paddle board right from your doorstep(tide permitting). Within walking distance of all that Mangawhai Village has to offer, Tavern, markets, Bennetts cafe and chocolate shop, Dune, Eight, The Corner Bistro and much more. It is also a great area to bike around with plenty of flat streets and paths to explore.
The house itself has fantastic open plan living with two generous living spaces joined by a central dining room and well-equipped kitchen. The living spaces flow out onto a covered patio where you can dine alfresco while enjoying the beautiful estuary outlook. The front three bedrooms all have estuary or garden views and enjoy direct access to the lawn or patio, with the master also offering a luxurious ensuite bathroom complete with corner spa bath.
Fire up the BBQ and enjoy a cold drink after playing a round on your own private 10-hole chip and putt mini-golf course. What a way to spend your summer! Later, put your feet up in the sitting room with a book and a cuppa, or pop some corn and come together in the lounge for a family movie night on the Smart TV.
Afterdune Delight is also a fantastic option for a mid-year getaway to the Winterless North! The fireplace keeps things nice and warm and provides a cosy ambience while you still enjoy those great views from the large picture windows and the heat transfer system helps to keep the rest of house warm. The table tennis table in the carpeted garage offers another great entertainment option on a rainy day.
Notes:

Please be aware that there is direct access to water in front of the property so you should assess suitability for your group and young children should be supervised at all times.
The garage with the bunks is lined but has an unlined double garage door (as pictured), so it can be relatively cool in winter.

Once your booking is approved, we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges). Please note the amount stated as 'Deposit Paid at Property' on the Bookabach/VRBO quote is actually a refundable bond that will be collected as part of the accommodation payment, it is not collected at the property as the wording suggests.
